Italian inside outside porcelain tiles

Working closely with Mimetico Design who specified The TilePortfolio and Intelitrade Developments the developer, this stunning project features our Italian inside outside porcelain tiles to the front, rear, steps and internal ground floor of this amazing property. This is a great example of how you can connect all areas of your home by using the same tile throughout.

A beautifully stylish entrance

We start at the entrance with our inside outside porcelain tiles adorning both the steps and frontage of this grand property. Steps are fabricated from the same 800 x 800mm tiles that form the frontage area with treads bullnosed to the front.

In this instance our Flow Shell 800 x 800 porcelain tiles were specified, a beautifully stylish cream tile with a hint of white stone veining. The simple, subtle design and tactile matt finish make Shell a perfect tile for those seeking an uncomplicated canvas to work across ground floors areas. This is a tile that works brilliantly with a whole host of colours leaving you free to keep spaces neutral using simple tone and texture or add more colour.

As well as a matt 9mm tile for internal spaces, Flow Shell also includes a 2cm option for external areas. Both tiles are in an 800 x 800mm format with the 2cm outside tile featuring an Antislip finely textured surface for added grip. Both porcelain tiles look the same and are designed to co-ordinate together giving a seamless feel to spaces as tiles flow from inside to outside.

The 2cm thick porcelain pavers are also used in 800 x 800mm size to create the external steps to the rear of this incredible home. Both risers and treads are fabricated from the same material with a bullnose finish to the treads. This gives a rounded leading edge to the treads.
