2021 colour trends

Interiors

There are lots of interior and 2021 colour trends so we’ve ‘homed’ in on one or two that fill us with the freshness of spring and warmth of summer. Whether you are breathing new life into your existing abode, tackling life one room at a time or embarking on an epic grand design, 2021 seems set to be a celebration of hues that radiate warmth and wellbeing.

We're still in love with grey

Our love affair with grey, of course, is here to stay. This staple of design has been with us for more than a decade and is so much more than a trend, it's a phenomenon - so much so that Ultimate Grey is the 2021 Pantone colour. Along with Pantone's Illuminating Yellow these two shades are set to usher in a spring and summer to brighten and lighten our homes.

We're warming Up

After a very long 2020, we are loving the warming, soothing tones of oatmeal, jute and warmer whites. Beige is back alongside natural shades that are a beautiful alternative to whites and greys.

This natural palette is enhanced with textured tile finishes that add depth and warmth to spaces. Larger format ceramics create beautiful seamless walls with minimal grout lines.

Beautiful Botanicals

Botanicals are in. We will firmly be embracing the trend for all things nature inspired. From plants to wallpaper, fabric and more, green will be making it into our homes in more ways than one.

Sage green, the wise choice

Green signals health and well-being and particularly for the kitchen, sage green looks set to be the wise choice for 2021. With green cabinetry edging ahead of the navy blues of 2020, whether emerald green or forest green, paired with the new trend for beige or those gorgeous grey tones, these are colours that are as welcoming as they are relaxing.

Rustic, earthy vibes

Let's hear it for those gorgeous earthy tones of terracotta, natural earthy browns and colours of spice. Natural wood effect tiles set the stage beautifully for rusts and burnt oranges to give a super cosy feel to spaces.

Connecting in to out

These same shades tap right into the trend for indoor outdoor living. This is about connecting indoors with outdoors, bringing nature in whilst taking the inside, out. At its heart is flooring that seamlessly connects spaces to create a flow from home to garden. The next few years are set to see us creating outside spaces in which to entertain, relax and dine making the most of the sunshine. We're creating inside rooms, outside.

Makes us want to put our feet up! Bring on the sunshine. If you're looking for the latest porcelain and ceramic tiles then visit our website. Our online portfolios are full of innovation and tiles with style in spades.
